Family Session | Fontana | Hazelton, Iowa

It’s always nice to see an old friend. I went to high school with Kaela and we did a session back in August with her spunky little girl Quinn.

We went to Fontana Park in Hazelton, IA. It’s a nice little place to visit if you’ve never been. They have a little section of wildlife you can see! Quite a few jetty's to fish off of, camping and a playground, hiking too! A lot of different scenery at Fontana, which means plenty of places to photograph!

I’m always willing to travel to my clients, I love photographing in new places.

There was never a dull moment with this girl!

I love capturing real moments. The funny ones especially.

I hope you’re ready to see a bunch of cute pictures! Here is more from their session:

Ogren Family | Farm House Session | Denver, Iowa

I love getting to do Family Sessions. And this one was special! My distant cousin Heather contacted me to ask if I could come to her Grandparent's farm (my Great Aunt and Uncle) to do their session. It is a gorgeous acreage set back in the field off of the highway in Denver, Iowa - the farm has a special place in Heather's heart.

The farm isn't far from where I'm located in Cedar Falls and I don't mind traveling to my clients, plus I got to see family that I don't get to see very often.

The Ogren's will soon become a family of four and it was no problem at all to throw in a few maternity photos for them as well!

I also photographed Heather's first pregnancy so it was nice to see little Wyatt growing up!

Paul and Heather are sooooo cute together. They rocked their couples photos and needed no direction, they're naturals! You can just feel and see the love radiating off of them in their images.

I love Summer time sessions, look at those gorgeous flowers. And that front porch! So magical!

Wyatt is also a natural in front of the camera. It didn't take long for him to warm up to me, Grandpa was a huge help in getting him to smile in the beginning though!

Maternity sessions are also some of my favorites, Heather was absolutely glowing! And that dress! I might be obsessed with floral.

We also found some beautiful purple flowers next to the field and had to crawl in the patch!

I can't wait to meet their little squish and I look forward to the day I get to photograph their family again.
